Xcel Heating and Air Conditioning Rebates

Central AC Rebate

Qualifying customers who purchase and install a new, eligible central air conditioner from one of our registered contractors can receive up to $500 cash back!

The installation property must be located in Colorado and receive residential electricity service from Xcel Energy to qualify for the rebate. Rebates are given only to customers whose central air conditioner was installed by a contractor who is a registered participant in Xcel Energy’s cooling program. Eligible equipment must be installed between January 1, 2010 and December 31, 2010 and applications must be turned in by July 31, 2011. Please note that ductless mini-split systems (AC and heat pumps) do not qualify for Xcel Energy rebate programs.

Heating Rebates

Xcel Energy is now offering natural gas customers in Colorado cash back with the purchase and installation of new energy-efficient natural gas furnaces or boilers. You’ll notice a sizeable savings on your energy bills throughout the lifetime of your equipment.

Program requirements

Eligible residential and small business customers must purchase natural gas directly from Xcel Energy and live Colorado. Your purchased and installed equipment must meet GAMA certification.

The 2010 program is effective January 1, 2010, to December 31, 2010, for equipment purchased and installed within this 12 month period. Application forms are due July 31, 2011. Rebate levels are subject to change without notice at any time. Certain restrictions may apply.
